Something New Is Coming...

And I hope you love it!

So sorry, I just saw The Tragedy of Julius Caesar with my book club and I couldn’t help myself. (!)

This dispatch is a little different from the ones past. As the title has suggested, something new is brewing for joyride. After writing some version of this newsletter for the last almost decade, I’ve realized that I want to take this in a new direction. If you know me personally, then said direction will be unsurprising. I’ll continue my commentary on fashion and beauty culture, with expanded reporting on the arts. joyride will also be renamed, and since you’re here, you heard it first: All the Beautiful Things. I’ll be doing a soft launch throughout the summer, so don’t be surprised as you see a slow changeover in design and content.

One key change that is coming down the pipeline is that the paywall will be on. I’ll share more details soon, but here’s the need-to-know vis-à-vis subscriptions.
